On Jan. 3rd, Associate Professor Chen Wei from the National University of Singapore conducted a seminar entitled “Interface Engineering for 2D Phosphorene Based Optoelectronic Devices” for Collaborative Innovation Center for Optoelectronic Science Technology of SZU.

 

On Jan. 5th, Professor Wang Jiantai from Shu-Te University of Shude University conducted a seminar entitled “Taiwan hundred-year national traditional sports” for Sports Department of SZU.

 

On Jan. 5th, Tenured Professor Cao Weiguo from Department of Genetics and Biology of Clemson University (USA) conducted a seminar entitled “Methyl Binding Protein MeCP2 and RETT Syndrome” for Health Science Centre of SZU.

On Jan. 11th, Professor Teng Jinguang from Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Hong Kong Polytechnic University conducted a seminar entitled “Review and Prospect of Composite Engineering Structures in Civil Engineering” for College of Civil Engineering of SZU.

 

On Jan. 11th, SZU and Shun Tianxiang University (South Korea) signed a framework cooperation agreement. President Xu Jiaoyi and Vice President Jin Chengyu from Shun Tianxiang University (South Korea), vice secretary Fan Zhigang of SZU attended the ceremony. Superintendents from International Office, Health Science Center, Office of Academic Affairs and other relevant departments also attended the ceremony.

On Jan. 13th, Professor Wu Yufei from Rmit University (Australia) conducted a seminar entitled “New Developments in Reinforced Concrete Theory” for College of Civil Engineering of SZU.

 

On Jan. 15st, Professor Xi Jiangtao, dean of School of Electrical, Computer and Communication Engineering, University of Wollongong(Australia) and SZU College of Optoelectronic Engineering held an international cooperation exchange in SZU.

 

On Jan. 16th, a delegation led by professor Wu Hong, dean of SZU College of Design visited Antwerp University Union and Royal Academy of Fine Arts and other top institutions of Art and Design in Europe. The delegation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Antwerp University Union and Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp’s City Hall under the testimony of its Vice Mayor. The delegation went to the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts to attend the opening ceremony of the three universities and make sure of the implementation of European Studies Center of SZU College of Design’s specific issues.

 

On Jan. 18th, Fu Weijie (Bertrand FURNO) from Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou and Vice Counselor Lu Suo (Fabrice ROUSSEAU) from Cultural and Educational Cooperation of French Embassy in China visited Shenzhen Audencia Business School. Tao Yitao, Vice Secretary of Party Committee and Secretary for Disciplinary Inspection met with our visiting guests. And superintendents from International Office, Discipline Construction and Development Office together with Shenzhen Audencia Business School also attended this meeting.

 

On Feb. 19th, a delegation consisting of Swedish ambassador to China Lin Daian, Swedish Embassy Science and Technology Counselor Mike, Swedish innovation and development group (AI) chairman Nicholas, fund general manager Jacob Marlberg, group partner Hu Jin and his entourages visited our school. President Li Qingquan met these guests. And principals from College of Optoelectronic Engineering, Health Science Center, International Office and Department of Science and Technology also attended this meeting.

 

On Feb. 16th, Professor Herbert Wiggenhauser, a superintendent from Civil Engineering Non-destructive Testing Department of Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing conducted a seminar titled as “Latest Development on Non-destructive Test for Civil Engineering Application” for College of Civil Engineering of SZU.

 

On Feb. 16th, Assistant Professor Wallace Lai from Hong Kong Polytechnic University conducted a seminar on “Method validation and accreditation of NDT on Engineering and Building Structure in Hong Kong” for College of Civil Engineering of SZU.

 

On Feb. 17th, SZU and the German University of Kentucky signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

 

 

On Feb. 18th, Professor Michael Pecht from University of Maryland conducted a seminar on “Systems Health Monitoring and Management within the Internet of Things” for College of Information Engineering of SZU信息工程学院.

 

On Feb. 20th, Tenured Professor Mingdong Dong from Aarhus University (Denmark) conducted an academic report entitled “Two-Dimensional Materials Confined Water” for College of Mechatronics and Control Engineering of SZU.

 

From Feb. 20th _ 21st, Dr. Xu Xingzhi, Vice Dean of SZU Health Science Centerwas invited to visit Milan Molecular Cancer Institute in Italy to discuss the specific issues of the SZU-IFOM Center for Genome Stability (SICGS), and they signed a framework cooperation agreement.

 

On Feb. 22th, Professor Suk Won Cha from Seoul National University conducted a seminar entitled “Ultra Thin Solid Oxide Fuel Cell for Low Temperature Operations on Hydrogen and Hydrocarbon Fuels” for College of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering of SZU.

 

On Feb. 22th, Associate Professor Kainam Thomas Wong from Hong Kong Polytechnic University conducted a seminar entitled “The Estimation of an Incident Signals Direction-of-arrival, Using a Tetrahedral Array under Non-ideal Conditions” for College of Information Engineering of SZU.

 

On Feb. 24th, Dr. Zhou Haibo from University of Waterloo conducted a seminar entitled “WhiteFi Infostation: Engineering Vehicular Media Streaming with Geolocation Database” for College of Information Engineering of SZU.

 

On Feb. 24th, SZU held the 2017 spring opening ceremony of international students. Vice President Li Jun and all

leaders and teachers from College of International Exchange attended the ceremony.

 

On Feb. 27th, Assistant Dr. ZHAO Yonghua from University of Tokyo conducted a seminar entitled “Electrical discharge slicing system for wafering SiC ingot using an ultra-thin foil tool electrode” for College of Mechatronics and Controling of SZU.
